What is Covered?

1. Income Tax Audits

The most common audit category, ATO audits can effect individuals and businesses with unexpected costs and timeframes

2. BAS Audits

BAS audits can be quite common, especially when claiming high amounts of GST on new asset purchases. Our coverage will reduce the burden of these events.

3. Payroll Tax Audits

Each state government has there own regulations when it comes to payroll tax. If your business is liable for payroll tax, our audit cover will protect you against additional fees.

4. Workers Compensation Audits

A growing area of audit risk are workers compensation audits. Getting workers compensation insurance right can be tricky, however we can reduce the burden should you be selected for audit.

Terms & Conditions

The audit cover period covers any audit events that commence between 1 July and 30 June of the year the subscription is purchased.
The audit cover includes all accounting fees arising as a result of an audit event as detailed below.
Additional taxes, duties or other liability arising from an audit event is not covered by this policy, nor does Beda indemnify you for any such amounts.
An audit event includes any audit or review engagement by one of the organizations listed in paragraph 5 below.
The audit cover protects you from accounting fees associated with an audit by one of the following organizations:
1. Australian Taxation Office
2. Revenue NSW
3. Victoria State Revenue Office (SRO)
4. Queensland Revenue Office (QRO)
5. Revenue WA
6. Revenue SA
7. State Revenue Office of Tasmania
8. ACT Revenue Office
9. Territory Revenue Office (TRO)
10. icare
11. WorkSafe Victoria
12. WorkSafe QLD
13. WorkCover WA
14. ReturnToWorkSA
15. WorkSafe Tasmania
16. WorkSafe ACT
17. NT WorkSafe
Audit events that arose prior to the purchase of the subscription are not covered under this subscription.
