During the months of February and March 2022, if your business was directly impacted by a storm or flood, you may be eligible to apply for the Storm & Flood Disaster Recovery grant to assist with the cost of clean-up, repairs and temporary premises leasing costs. This grant was originally for the flood disasters in November & December 2021, however it has been extended to include the recent flood impacts in February & March 2022.

Grant Information
Grants are available for up to $50,000, however if your application is for a lesser amount, you may complete a second application for eligible additional clean-up activities.
Up to $15,000: Must supply quotes for work, no payment evidence is required at this stage. Must also supply a list of the damage, photographic evidence and any other supporting documents.
$15,000 - $50,000: Must supply valid tax invoices and evidence of payment

Eligibility
Must be a small business owner or a not-for-profit organisation
Located in a Defined Disaster Area
Have suffered direct damage of flood or flood mitigation activities on business assets or equipment
Intention to re-establish your business or not-for-profit organisation
Small Businesses: ABN is held in the defined disaster area at the time of the disaster
Not-For-Profits: ACNC registration at the time of the disaster
